On the 5th May 2020, ISO 45001 is an international standard that aims to improve organisations occupational health and safety (OH&S) systems. There are a number of benefits to be gained by attaining the standard, including; increased awareness of OH&S risks, employees taking a more active role in OH&S, and most importantly a reduced risk of incidents.
On the 9th February 2018, on successful completion of an external audit with Lloyds Register, Sora Marine received the Integrated Management System Certificate for the implementation and compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007
On the 12th January 2015, on successful completion of an external audit with Lloyds Register, Sora Marine has received the Safety Management Certificate for the Qatar University Research Vessel Janan, IMO No. 9488906, in compliance with the International Safety Management Code, ISM 2010, for the Safe Operation of Ships and Pollution Prevention
